Clear Answers to Common Questions

Q: Isn’t focusing on my image a little superficial?
Image is not synonymous with vanity. Our goal is to help you identify what’s important to you, what works for you, what might not have worked in the past, and how you can use your visual appearance as another tool to communicate effectively. It’s like arming yourself with a strong vocabulary or a master’s degree—tools that help you convey your credibility and capability.

Q: Who is this for?
We have structured our services to benefit men or women of all ages; be it an individual or a company-wide initiative ImageCube is dedicated to empowering every individual with tools that allow people to harness the power of a polished image. Often we are called upon to help manage changes within a company or an individuals life. Be it the on-boarding and training of new employees, the promotion of existing talent, or a return to the workforce for a new mother - ImageCube is prepared to help our clients navigate the transition in a manner that empowers and build confidence. It’s no surprise to people that the way we look and feel affects the way we act, the way others perceive us, and the success and level of satisfaction we have in our personal and professional lives.

Q: How can it help me?
Ask yourself: What difference does self-confidence make in your life? When we’re self-aware, not only of the way we look but the messages we send with our appearance and presence, we project confidence and credibility; we earn trust. The ways this can help us are immeasurable. It can also help you save time and money. How many times have you wandered around the mall or wasted money on clothes you haven't worn? How long does it take you to pack and is it difficult to limit yourself to one piece of luggage? Shop, pack, and dress with purpose and never second-guess yourself.

Q: I don’t want to look like everyone else - what’s wrong with just wearing whatever I want?
You can absolutely wear whatever you want as long as you’re prepared to accept the judgments and impressions that come with it. You may be brilliant, but if you walked into an interview in sweats, you’d have to work twice as hard to get someone to listen. Dressing the part - that is, dressing appropriately for your environment and/or goals—is not about being boring or looking like everyone else and it’s not about pretending to be someone you’re not.  It is about being true to yourself and your goals and about communicating faster and more efficiently to the people around you. It’s always about choice and about choosing the kind of message you want to send. Our goal is to find ways for you to express yourself within the framework of your most important aspirations.

Sola also incorporates recognized and trusted image management tools including the Myers-Briggs Personality Type Indicator (MBTI), personal color analysis, and body type evaluations.

Q: What happens in a personal consultation?
That depends largely on what you are trying to accomplish, but generally, we will meet at a quiet location of your choice (normally your home or place of business) for the initial consultation. We’ll begin with focused discovery questions and a general evaluation. We will also reveal answers to honest self-assessments of your image, style, personality, successes and challenges. Then we’ll use a number of tools and materials to devise personalized plans for success. This isn’t a lecture, it’s a collaboration where we design solutions for you and your lifestyle. You walk away with tools to sustain the change over time and to interpret trends into a style that’s true to you.

Q: How long do consultations, training sessions and seminars last?
Consultations will vary based on your topic(s) of choice, but will generally last two to three hours a session with an average of two to three sessions. Training and development session and seminars are range in duration from 1 to 2.5 hours, depending upon the program selected. Maximum number of participants in a program is set at 25.

Q: How are your services priced?
For Individuals: Personal consultations are designed and priced to fit your needs and budget; other factors that affect final pricing are one-on-one shopping assistance, and/or additional consultations.
For Companies: Depending on the session that is selected, either Look The Part or Authentic Professionalism standard pricing will apply. Variation in pricing is only based on materials production related to total number of participants.
